Its what I needed 07/17/2018
By David
This bike is okay. I'm 350lbs so I need it. I sprang for a few upgrades to make sure the weight capacity was in a safe range. I've had it about two months and now use it to commute to work instead of driving. The extra-wide seat fell apart on my ride home this past Friday The 13th (I know ha-ha-ha). And today I discovered the bolt on the seat post collar was stripped. This has been a day one problem. No matter what the seat post would move from time to time swiveling side to side. I thought I finally had it tight enough to finally hold it still only to discover today (after replacing the seat) that its stripped. I've just replaced it with a coarse thread bolt from the hardware store that already shows to be much better than the fine thread from the factory. The only thing I'd change about this bike was maybe smaller tires. its very high for me and I didn't consider that when ordering it, but tire size is not an option when ordering this bike.

Well built-but 07/18/2017
By Mark Books
This bike was a custom bike for a heavy rider. 26
Inch tires, yet kickstand sent was standard size. Would not keep bike up until I straightened out the bend at end of kickstand that gave it just the extra length needed. Paint/. Laying on handlebar stem made it almost impossible to insert into front fok. Had to wet sand to fit. Little details matter when people order custom bike. Overall good heavy duty product.

The Diesel Of Bikes 06/02/2017
By A. Jeff.
I am a farly large and tall guy. I was looking to get in shape and after knee surgery the most effective workout regiment for me was riding a bike. I purchased a stationary bike but that got old quick. I needed more adventure and scenery on my ride. I looked and searched everywhere for a bike that could fit me and I came across Workmans Cycles. I ordered my bike each comes customized to your specific needs. When it got here the color was wrong but hey if it gets the job done. Wow after the complete assembly it turned out to be a behemoth of a bike. It makes me look short. This bike takes my height and weight like a brut Clydesdale. It is the diesel of bikes. Big comfortable seat. Natural positioning handle bars for a comfortable seating position. Big brakes to stop. If you are a big and tall guy or just looking to purchase the last bike your will ever need to. I highly recommend Workmans Cycle bikes. Very pleased with my purchase.

Extremely well built Bike 02/16/2017
By Robert Klingensmith
This bike is built like a tank. It can handle my weight without undue stress. With extended handle bars and pedals it fits me lIke a glove. I am six foot five and it is very comfortable. The bike is big enough that I don't look like a circus bear on it. It was very helpful to be able to call and get help picking out the right model bike and accessories. This bike rides nice and smooth. I am glad to have had the opportunity to buy American. I waited for the bike to be built. It was good to know a fellow American had a job.
I cannot think of any cons. It is built well and looks great. It suits me very well.
My occupation took me to a lot of factories and warehouses all over the country. I have seen Worksman bikes at work in many of them. Many trikes with carrying capacity as well as two wheel bikes made moving personel and materials quick and easy in these big spaces. Yes they have made a good impression on me.
Thanks to Worksman for a great product. I would definitely buy again

Love the bike but the customer service not so much. 01/06/2017
By James Goudreau
I love the bike, the color is awesome and it holds up to my weight. The bike is exactly what I was looking for. The issues where customer service related. When you spend around $1,000 I guess I expect a few email updates especially when things take longer than expected. Maybe warning that the seat would be sent separately and arrive almost 2 weeks after the bike. If any attempt at service would have been made this would have been 5/5 but the bike is worth the crappy service.

Delayed Gratification at its finest? 09/02/2016
By Josh Clemens
So it took around 8 weeks to get my bike, around 100 dollars a week for the cost of it, i assume it is around 200 bucks in materials, (lots of quality steel/alloy whatever the hell its made out of) and the rest in labor im guessing obviously. Very little response from the company when asking questions, very little interest in even remotely being polite on the phone (if you get someone to answer) all that being said, i went in to the whole thing expecting this to be the case, read a little and youll see others saying the same things, and if you come into this expecting to be treated differently? well thats your problem. You will get your bike, its going to take a long time, you are not going to get anyone who cares about your feelings, because this company is in queens, and the people who work there are probably all from queens, so your problems mean d|( as it should be.

The bike is awesome, i was 402 lbs the day i got it, im 390 today, and loosing every day. Thanks Worksman!

well built bike 05/23/2016
By David Marine
Great American made bike. Heavy duty and quality is obvious. Not light weight Chinese made, but heavy duty and built to last. Very comfortable to ride. The coaster brake with three speeds and the front drum brake makes riding enjoyable and safe. Should last for generations.

Urban Commuter Cruiser 09/19/2015
By Christine
We were able to fully research the bike through the Worksman website. We searched for certain features by any manufacturer and found ourselves right back on the Worksman website. Tires frequently going flat and uncomfortable seats were the primary reason for looking. I could see that my son was discouraged. In addition to better tire options we thought we'd look for something designed for a heavier rider with a sturdy design and higher quality materials. The purchase was completed online without any issues. Confirmation of payment and updates were received. Delivery was within the estimated time. All items selected were securely packed, shipped, and received in good condition. Nothing damaged or missing. My son and his grandfather spent one Sunday assembling. It did take an extra tool to secure the seat but, so far, it's been a great source of transportation and exercise. No flat tires! We're very happy with the bike and Cable Lock.

Really enjoying it 08/26/2015
By David Forgue
I got this bike because I am closer to the top weight rating and wanted to start riding a bike again. So far (about 50 miles) it has been great. The seat is awesome. That part of me has not been sore at all.

A few things. The assembly was not complicated at all, but the directions are not very clear (for instance I needed an Allen wrench that the directions never mentioned). Also, the gears were not properly set, but I paid (literally) $6 to have a bike shop align them correctly. Best $6 I've spent in a long time. Third, because the tires and frame are thick it can be hard to get a small lock on it. A bigger U lock may be a good idea.

Finally, the bike is very heavy. It is supposed to be about 55 pounds. That is a little over the max for many bike storage solutions, and it makes it awkward to store on high racks or carry on stairs. I don't think there's anything to be done about this, but definitely don't plan on using a 20 lbs. pulley system to store the bike in a garage.
