Pretty legit 10/06/2018
By Leanna
I got this bike for my 16th birthday. Expensive, but absolutely worth it. Works wonderfully: gears shift nice, goes fast, rides smooth.
I ride it everyday when I come home form school and I think it's the best gift I've ever gotten.

It did come with a few scratches and a with a wheel axle sticking out through a hole in the box, though. Bit upsetting, but I can just slap some paint on that bad boy and fix it right up. Also, it took extremely long to arrive (nearly 2 months). Just barely came before my birthday. Really threading the needle there with shipping.

Over all, pretty good, solid bike here. If ya'll got any sense, you'd buy one.

I love my new bike. 09/06/2016
By Amy Wyse
I love my new bike. Customer service has been very helpful for the few things we had to call about when putting the bike together. I've rode this bike more in the past month than I rode my mountain bike in 10 years. It's just so comfortable. My only problem is that I didn't get my bike cable with key to lock up my bike. I ordered it, but it wasn't with my shipment. I'm telling everyone where I ordered my bike from.

Love my Worksman! 07/08/2014
By Becky Applebee
My husband found the Worksman site and we ordered a custom Classic Women's Cruiser so that I could ride to work every day. We ordered the safety yellow with chrome fenders and 3 speeds, coaster brake, a basket for the front and rear dual baskets. Assembly of the baskets, seat, pedals and handlebars were not too difficult; the rest of the bike came pre-assembled. The bike is very sturdy, got the large comfort seat and it makes for a pleasant ride. I don't think I have to worry about anyone stealing it, it weighs about 40 pounds! It was a bit daunting at first but after about 2 months of riding at least 3 days a week I can finally make it to work and back home without having to walk up any of the hills! Love the bicycle and believe it will give me many years of good service.

NEWS BOY 01/02/2014
By LARRY KOPP
Received the industrial news boy shipped in a single box. The box was in fine condition and the bike was not. the seat was stuck in the front wheel scratching the rim and the front break lever was scratched up hanging in the spokes. After removing the bike from the box the first thing I noticed was the top frame tube was scratched, looking closer the hole frame has scratches and chips with paint runs on the down tubs. In my opinion none of this was caused by ship but the front forks paint was scuffed up by rubbing on the box. Then I saw the bike did not have a chrome crank, it's pained black and did not have the 36 tooth front sprocket that I ordered. Shipping was a 120 bucks and to send the bike back a restocking fee of 15% plus shipping the bike back would be a major loss, so I call Worksman service. They sent out a new break handle, touch up paint for the rim and frame, a 36 tooth sprocket with a chain break to shorten the chain. Over all, the customer service was fine.

About as good as it gets. 06/13/2013
By SlingShot
I received the bicycle in two separate and well packaged boxes. One contained the mostly assembled bicycle and the other parts needed to assemble the bike. The other box contained the front drum brake wheel. Assembling the bicycle was straight forward and simple. It was also kind of fun. Anyone with the proper tools should be able to assemble this bicycle with little trouble. Although there is a youtube video explaining the procedure if needed. The first thing I noticed about this bicycle was how incredibly beefy the wheels were. They are the most heavy duty wheels I have ever seen on a bicycle. I really like the seat and handle bars, those things paired with the big tires make for an incredibly smooth and silent ride. One thing to note is to pump up the tires to the max pressure to get the best speed out of the bike. The gearing is perfect and the bike is pretty quick. It is a heavy bicycle but it isn't super heavy. I carry it up two flights of stairs easily. Great Value!

Great Bike but.... 06/11/2013
By Gregory Fritz
The Bike was easy to put together. Just watch the video and no problems. For such a beefy bike, I was amazed at how smooth the ride is (I have the bottom bracket upgrade). The worksman rep suggested the hi-rise handlebars and I am glad he did. I am a tall guy and those handlebars let me sit in a very comfortable position. I must also say the wide seat is very nice too. The only complaint I have is that the rear rack is a bit on the flimsy side and got a little mangled in shipping. Also, even though the bike was well wrapped and packed, fed ex managed to damage the paint job. In several spots on the frame the paint was rubbed off all the way down to the metal. Not very happy with that. Overall, this is a very solid bike and I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a bike that is build well and will last.
