To operate the electric system, there is a simple throttle on the handlebars. Simply turn the throttle to your desired speed and go! Riding this electric trike is the most fun I've had in years (OK I lead a boring life). It's like a magic carpet. I just float along the road and fly up hills. The new shift lever is much easier to use than the old one on my original Port-o-Trike. I love the bright blue color too.

I don't drive anymore so this is my main form of transportation. The big basket on the back is great for carrying groceries, even with the battery taking up about 1/2 the space. I put a couple of bike baskets on the inside and outside of the handlebars for small items.

I bought it with the seat back and safety belt, but it was too uncomfortable for me. I don't recommend them and took them off. My original Port-o-Trike has a wider seat, but the one on the electric is more comfortable.

The only big drawback is the same as the manual trike, it tilts on uneven roads and driveways. So I have to walk it across. Otherwise I highly recommend it.

LOVE THAT 3-SPEED ELECTRIC TRIKE!
I ordered the lavender trike, and several weeks later was able to purchase locally a lavender helmett. The trike is such fun and gets lots of attention and smiles. I use the electric motor (for 5 seconds or less) when I am going up a steep hill, or trying to catch up to a friend riding a 2-wheel racing bike!! Best purchase ever, and Worksman was terrific to work with.

This trike is amazing and fits my needs perfectly!
It is heavy duty.
I did find that I have to adjust my balance on sloping roads.
It works great in the park and on theAtlanta Beltline.

The bike is great. Relatively easy to put together and looks great. Very easy to ride once you get use to the three wheel feel compared to a two-wheeler. Very fast for an electric and easy to peddle without assistance if on level areas.

Bought it for an older relative and definitely will be useful.
