Pendleton Cruiser Bicycles from Worksman Cycles

NEW for 2012 Limited edition beach cruiser bicycles designed by Pendleton Woolen Mills and Worksman Cycles . Due to Limited Production, these beauties are sure to become collectors items. A natural fit for collaboration, the two family-owned businesses share a value for American-made heritage goods as well as roots that date back to the 1890's: Pendleton has been creating its trademark jacquard blankets for over a century, and Worksman is America's oldest manufacturer of industrial-strength delivery bicycles. The collaborative result is a heavy-duty cruiser that is handcrafted by Worksman and features Pendleton's Chief Joseph pattern wrapped onto the frame.

"Chief Joseph was Nez Perce, a people renowned for their horsemanship," First introduced in the '20s, the signature blanket pattern includes a design of arrowheads that symbolize bravery and point in the four cardinal directions. The new bicycle updates this traditional representation of nomadic life for a modern form of transportation. "By having these bicycles painted so elegantly in this famous blanket pattern, it almost represents the new urban steed."

The men's version is Black while the ladies is White both with the Chief Joseph Pattern wrapped on the frame. Each features a Chrome Plated Fork and smooth riding 26x2.125 tires with Worksman Clincher rims, 11g spokes and Shimano E110 Coaster brake.
